Democrats around the state have upped their game and are showing up for protests and bridge brigades, legislative sessions and activist workshops. Many of them are ready to move on, to take the next step, which is talking to others.
Last week we held a “test drive” workshop on Zoom to introduce Conversation Canvassing to a team of 12. Participants brought a mix of canvassing experience to the group; some had watched the 2025 intro video, some had been canvassing what seemed like forever, some were new to the idea but emboldened to do something given the current political environment. All had a curiosity to learn why conversation (deep) canvassing was unique and effective. All had the required superpower, empathy.
