Good things are happening in the county!
We continue to build our network of town committees and earlier this week the Northern Grafton County Dems voted in Joe Beaulieu as interim town chair of Monroe, the first ever Democratic town committee in Monroe.
Grafton County Dems had its first Bridge Brigade on Tuesday in support of the accountability budget rally in Concord.
We hosted our first Conversation Canvassing training workshop for 2025 last week with a team from Merrimack, and are booking workshops for the summer. We are offering an exploratory modeling workshop, a “test drive” model, along with our standard training workshop.
Grafton County Democratic Legislators held three listening sessions last week in Lebanon, Plymouth and Canaan and turnout was strong. The sessions were guided by questions from the floor and legislators responded based on their committee work. Members of the NH House Democratic Caucus are compiling notes from all the sessions and will be sharing them when all 20+ sessions are complete. We have asked for more listening sessions in the fall.
We are in awe of all of our county Legislators and thankful they turn up every day in committee work and in the legislature, despite the overwhelming and formidable challenges of working against such odds. They are our heroes. Thank you.
