ALERT! Minimum Standards for Public School

ALERT! The NH Department of Education has introduced their proposed Minimum Standards for Public School Approval, also known as the Ed 306s, to the NH State Board of Education. The proposal, which appears to be largely crafted by Commissioner Frank Edelblut, would undermine public schools by weakening the standards to which our public schools are held. Read the whole Reaching Higher Press Release.

According to Reaching Higher NH’s analysis, the overhaul would have substantial implications for New Hampshire’s public schools and the students and communities they serve. Wednesday, March 20, at 1:00 p.m., RHNH is holding a webinar to unpack the newest proposal and its implications. Register here: bit.ly/UnpackED306s

Scammers are at it again!

ALERT! some of our Grafton County Dems have received emails from someone trying to impersonate Chairman Buckley’s asking to connect over email or other means.

THIS IS FAKE and not Chairman Buckley. Please do not respond. Their goal is to try and get you to respond and then send some sort of link in the follow up that would try to scam you.

For whatever reason, they have targeted the NH Democratic County Chairs with this scam. Chairman’s real email, chairman@nhdp.org, is not compromised and the email address he uses. Please let us know if you get an email claiming to be from him that’s not from that address.

The bill was tabled. 346-14!

Watch Rep. Hakken-Phillips’ presentation at 3.05.01; the video should start at that point.
