How to Register to Vote in New Hampshire

#Enough is Enough

It doesn't have to be this way

Every day, senseless gun tragedies fill our news. Yet Governor Chris Sununu and radical right politicians are making our communities even more vulnerable by blocking common sense gun safety laws. Our children should have the freedom to attend school without the fear of active shooters, and our families should be able to walk down the street, go to a movie theater, drive a car, buy groceries, or visit family and friends without the threat of gun violence.Instead of listening to Granite Staters, a group of radical right extremists would rather:-justify murder by expanding the use of deadly force to those with road rage (HB 197).-prevent common sense gun laws from being implemented in NH (HB 1178).-recklessly allow the carry of loaded weapons on snowmobiles (HB 1636).-put guns on college campuses and in high traffic public places (HB 307).Under Republican leadership, New Hampshire blocked these common sense gun bills:-closing background check loopholes that allow bad actors and domestic abusers to purchase firearms online, at gun shows, or from private sellers without a background check. (HB 1668).-preventing the threatening display of deadly weapons at a parade, funeral procession, picket line, rally, vigil, or demonstration (HB 1151).-preventing the open carry and display of deadly weapons at polling places (often NH schools!) (HB 1096).It doesn’t have to be this way. We demand that state leaders strengthen gun safety laws to protect our families and our communities from gun violence. Join us by calling Gov. Chris Sununu at (603) 271-2121 and demanding he act on gun violence prevention.
