Time to Warm Up Your Voter Contact Skills for Enfield!

Enfield will hold a special election August 22 to fill the Grafton House District 16 vacancy created when Josh Adjutant resigned earlier this year. Democrat David Fracht, chairman of the Enfield Planning Board, will be facing only one Republican, so the August election will determine who holds the seat through 2024.

Special elections often produce lower than usual voter participation. In a May special election in a Nashua ward, just 211 voters cast ballots. Grafton House District 16 is wholly within Enfield, and while the town has a strong Democratic voting history, a special election in August may be even more challenging. So we can take nothing for granted, and we need all hands on
deck to make sure Democrats keep this seat. As in the 2023 session, voting rights, reproductive rights, public schools, health care and many other critical issues will all be at risk again in the 2024 Legislative session.

Enfield Democratic co-chairs Dawna Pidgeon and Barb Jones are hosting a Mascoma Lakeside picnic July 8 th to meet David. The picnic starts at 4 p.m. next Saturday at Barb’s home, 14 Johnston Drive, Enfield, off Route 4, near the Enfield / Lebanon line. Special guests include NH Senator Sue Prentiss and Representative Corinne Morse.

Please RSVP here if you plan to attend!

To help get David’s message out and support his effort to reach as many Enfield voters as possible, please consider contributing to his campaign through this link
