Back to school season is upon us. Parents and teachers have bought school supplies, kids are finding out which classroom they will be in, and we are all excited for the possibilities a new school year brings.

Unfortunately, back to school season also comes with real fears about school safety, especially the looming threat of gun violence in our classrooms.
