Tipping Point
Steve Marchand, founder of Move the Goal Posts, reveals the NH Senate and House Democratic candidates closest to the “Tipping Point” of winning and losing in November. Grafton seats start at 34.26 minutes.
Do you know your primary candidates?
On September 10, in less than a month, when you go to the polls, you will have several candidates to choose from for the following races: Governor, Representative in Congress, Executive Councilor, and for the county positions of Sheriff, Treasurer and Register of Deeds.
Many groups are hosting forums for these candidates and thanks to technology, we are now able to watch them live or as a recording.
Recently Mascoma Forward hosted a Meet and Greet for the Executive Council candidates. Thanks to Karen Liot Hill’s team for the recordings. You can watch the Q&A segments below. For best viewing, turn on the Youtube close captioning, CC, to read the transcription on the screen.
1. Who is the first candidate you volunteered for?
2. What experiences give you an understanding of your constituents needs?
3. What will you do to promote workers rights?
4. What will you be able to achieve as the sole democrat on the EC?
5. Why should we care about the Executive Council?
6. Closing Arguments
On Monday, Dartmouth and Hanover/Lyme Dems hosted the Congressional candidates for a Congressional District 2 Q&A. Click on the link for the livestream recording. There will be another Congressional District 2 Q&A this Monday, August 19, hosted by the Lebanon Dems. Sign up here.
